- Tutors4Tutees facilitates and manages all tutoring arrangements between tutors and clients.
- All bookings, payments, and ongoing communication are coordinated through Tutors4Tutees' systems and representatives.
2. Permitted communication channel
- Communication between tutors and clients is only permitted via WhatsApp group chats that include the parent or student, the assigned tutor, and the founder or a representative of Tutors4Tutees.

- This policy ensures transparency, safeguarding and proper oversight.
3. No external tuition agreements
- Clients and tutors must not enter private arrangements for tuition services outside Tutors4Tutees.
- Any attempt to bypass Tutors4Tutees to arrange or continue tuition independently will result in immediate termination of the agreement and may lead to legal action for recovery of lost earnings and damages.
4. Notice period to end tuition
- Clients must provide a minimum of three weeks' written notice to terminate ongoing tuition.
- During this notice period, tuition and payments will continue as scheduled.
- Failure to provide the required notice will result in continued billing for the three-week period, regardless of lesson attendance.
- Tutors must provide a minimum of two months' written notice to terminate ongoing tuition to allow sufficient time to find the client a new tutor.
- During this notice period, tuition and payments will continue as scheduled.
5. Payment terms
- Tuition is charged at a flat rate determined at the time of booking.
- Payments are collected in advance through our bespoke Tutors4Tutees platform.
- Late payments may result in suspension of tuition, late payment fees or potential termination of the agreement.
- Tutors are paid by Tutors4Tutees and must not accept or request direct payments from clients.
6. Cancellation policy
- Clients must give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session.
- If less than 48 hours' notice is given, the full lesson fee may still apply unless there is an unforeseen emergency, at Tutors4Tutees' discretion.
- Tutors must also give at least 48 hours' notice if they need to cancel a session, and a make-up session should be arranged.
7. Tutor standards and vetting
All tutors must:
- Provide an up-to-date DBS certificate.
- Maintain professional and respectful conduct.
- Adhere to the safeguarding and communication policies outlined above.
- Understand that tutors found breaching this agreement may be permanently removed from the platform.
